I'm hoping for a friend's sake that there's some sort of a Family week this season - it's been almost two years since she and her dad were accepted as contestants, and she's been dying to tape. I'll let you know if she gets her notice and I don't see it up on the calendar yet  I guess that's Jillian and her dad? Awesome that you guys know each other so well! |

I would like to the "Wheel around the world week" because is my favorite week, but should visit in the countries currently aired the local version of the "Wheel"

That's my favorite week. The thing is must should be five countries airing it. I know Brazil, Spain, Romania, and Vietnam are four that still air their versions (I just found that Romania's new season of Roata Norocului will start on Friday). I'm pretty certain about Columbia, which gives out a lot of prizes big and small. Although Russia airs their own, I don't think they've ever been mentioned as far as I know, except probably season 23. I don't think Turkey's version is on any longer, despite its apparent popularity. I heard about another starting in Indonesia, but I don't know about that.

Totally dig the name "Roata Norocului." It'd be great to see some prize puzzle trips that sent people places other than Hawaii or the Caribbean, which hopefully would happen with that theme. Do we have a list somewhere of all of the places Wheel trips have been?

The PP trips would still be to the usual places. The "themed" trips almost always apply solely to the Prize wedges. Through Season 29, there would be occasional ski trips and trips to Las Vegas and New York, but as of Season 30, they're all "tropical" trips outside of the U.S. mainland except in the rare case that the trip is not to somewhere in North America. Until about Season 26 or so, the trips could be just about anywhere, and were often to places like Italy, Germany, and Australia. There were also a LOT of Mexico trips, which were almost as common as Hawaii is now, but they stopped doing them after S28. |

The press release implies that Express and PP are permanently R3. Now I'm even more curious in regards to the supposed move to R2 on 02/14/14... I'm guessing Sears means another Secret Santa Sweepstakes? I don't really mind that, but I would like to see the Sears prize wedge in its normal spot this time and not on $650 where the Wheel will look even more cluttered.  Yay, more Sandals... :tdown: Another Disney week? Will it still be families/couples? While I love Disney, all the plugs during S30's week got annoying fast and the fact that they didn't tape it on a Disney property was just a letdown, especially since the Sony audience didn't really look that excited having to wear those Mickey ears. Surprised at no mention of Walmart. Though it's probably best they leave that out.  No mention of the 6000th episode? -_- |

You know, as someone from Chicago, I wouldn't mind Sears (I don't mind if they use certain themes or sponsors either every season), but how about something from the public limited company, Willis Group Holdings, in order to try something new? :lol:

Well, I don't know if they'll do Ring of Fortune, but if they were going to do a theme based on popular video game franchises such as Mario and Sonic, I'm sure they could find a way to do that, just as long as they get the licenses from the franchises' respective owners first. |

I'm here. I've been scared to come and post for fear of spoiling something. I was the last show taped on the Taste of the Good Life week(my show airs February 21), so I watched the other 4 shows and the incident described didn't happen during my week. Is it possible it happened during New Years Week, after dreamoffields had finished her taping? edited because i got my dates all mixed up. |

Forgot to mention this before, but the S31 logo Mario posted a snapshot of is now in use at the History Wiki. The express wedge and prize puzzle were in Round 3 for every show my week, yep. ...Which makes the changes Rory saw on the February 13-14 shows even more out-of-place, since those were taped the day before Taste of the Good Life. This just gets weirder and weirder, and I have the feeling we won't get an answer for five months. |

I saw show 1 of Las Vegas Vacation week (taped 7/30/13) and the first 2 shows of New Years in Las Vegas ( taped 7/31/13) and all 3 of these shows went off without any technical glitches. No stops in play. |
