UPDATE: There are modes in the app that let you play with friends and you can play. In the tournaments the Surprise wedge comes into play.

 Here is the Surprise wedge. They're only used during the tournaments. Also I just reached the NY location. And there are more throwbacks. The $10,000 wedge made a comeback. |

1) The game is only in Australia right now as we're testing it out
2) We're going to be making some big changes on it before we launch in other countries
3) Surprise wedge is from season 14 - note the same pink etc.
4) We're adding other wedges never seen in show too
5) Icon keeps changing as we're testing which one is best

Very excited to hear about these "big changes" and new wedges.  Any other show wedges in the works, like Express and Double Play? As for the icon, out of the two we've seen so far, I prefer the one with the logo hovering over the Wheel. The other one would look better if the wedges looked more like the show's. |

I agree with Mario: the original icon looks better. But the decision is yours By the way, thank you, Andrew, for keeping us informed about the game. Looking at the images and the information you have provided, it looks that it will be the best official game of Wheel. I hope I'll be able to play it, since I'm from Spain... |

- We've been brainstorming ideas for wedges so if you have some feel free to fire away!
- Express wedge is planned, it's in the third batch of wedges we release
- Sony prefer that we don't use certain retired wedges, so we have a variation that will double your score (not your spin)
- Game will be available in Spain at launch

Well that means the Double Play is out of the question, but if there's one retired element that I'd love for you to bring back apart from the ones that you've already done (like Surprise for example), it would certainly be the Jackpot wedge used from 1996 to 2013. I don't know how you guys would feel about also having the Big Money wedge from Season 25 in the game. There are some ideas from international versions such as these. Power (Philippines): If you land on this and choose a letter that's in the puzzle, you take all the cash from one of your opponents. Solve (Malaysia): If you land on this, you must solve the puzzle. Doing so doubles your money. Failing results in Bankrupt. Then there's the Invincibility token which, when used, protects you from a Bankrupt you've just landed on. That's something a friend of mine came up with a few years ago. I came up with a design and a name, and a lot of people here have since enjoyed the idea. That's good news, Andrew! I'll also suggest you some ideas about new wedges, which are from the Spanish version: -There is a new wedge in Spain called Todas las Vocales ("All Vowels") that you can use to reveal all the vowels in a puzzle at any moment (you save the wedge and you can use it when you want). - I also like the X2 and 1/2 wedges, which double and half your current score when you land on them and you call a correct consonant. However, probably they don't fit the original and current American format. - The Power wedge also exists in Spain as Me lo Quedo (I've never known how to translate it, something like "I keep it"), the difference is that you can also save it and you can use it when you want. |
