This is probably one of the most dominant performances I've ever seen by a player on La Ruleta since lousan92 was on the show.

La Ruleta de la Suerte is celebrating its 13th anniversary this week (billed as 12+1 due to the implications of bad luck by the number 13). There are some new things afoot for this week: - There is a new fixed wedge on the wheel, "Se Lo Doy" (I'll give it to them). If a player lands on this wedge, they must give all cash and cardboard in front of them to the opponent of their choice. No letter is called, and the player immediately spins again.
- For the anniversary celebration week, the Quiebra/1.000/Quiebra wedge is present on the wheel for the entire game, and is given a slightly different value of 1,013 €.
- In addition to the regular fare on the bonus wheel, one envelope contains 13,000 €.
For this show, the teams consist of previous players who did well on the show and players who were struck by bad luck.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but I wanted to talk about the episode aired in October 17, 2019. That's the day when my brother appeared as a contestant. He is, in Jorge Fernández's words, "one of the best contestants in La Ruleta's history", and he is surely going to be invited to the 14th anniversary special. Came, saw, had fun, danced like Snoop Dogg and won €9,200. Also, his bonus round letters were "DLC EA". I think I love him even more after that. Here is his episode.

Here are two episodes, one from 1996 and the other from August 1997, uploaded by the person who was a contestant on both episodes. For those who remember the American version's November 1998 episode commemorating 3000 syndicated shows like I do, the intro may look familiar.

Spain is back in the studio with new episodes. Note the set changes, including a reduced-capacity audience. This appears to be the first new episode since the pandemic. youtu.be/hRRqZxpqmFg

La Ruleta celebrates 15 years on the air this week, and as is custom for their anniversary weeks, there are a couple of gameplay changes for this week only: - There is a "15" wedge on the wheel. If picked up, the player who has it in hand earns an additional €15 per consonant. It is lost to Quiebra.
- As with their Christmas shows, each player has a small box at the beginning of the game (except it looks like a small birthday cake, so Jorge refers to it as such). If the winner goes the entire game without hitting Quiebra and keeps their cake, they win an additional prize before the bonus round.
- The winner with the highest total at the end of these 5 days wins an additional €15,000.
There was a special guest giving the clue to one of the puzzles: Conchi Gonzalez, the very first winner on La Ruleta back in 2006.

Also wow, it's been so long since I watched it on the regular, I didn't even realize: the wedges Gran Premio, Recuerda, and ? were all retired in July 2020. ? had been on the show since the beginning.

I have been watching la ruleta for 13 years (started when i was one month old), since the thread was dead i want to make a post about their new changes! And in case you didnt know, i wanted to share these images that the producer published on his tv page. This is the wheel fixed "exoskeleton" stuff as the producer calls it And these are the new wedges with a cool font! www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQ4XBpv7qSo and this is a video of the full program at the first day of february. Let me know what do you think about these changes.

You actually had me thinking for a second that you made a really good model. Anyway, thank you for letting us know about the changes, and welcome to the Buy A Vowel Boards.

Today's show was really painful, lot of bankrupts and lose a turns. But something worse happened, the flipper landed on 1000 but the wheel went back and got back at the bankrupt side of the wedge. The host, Jorge had to explain that the wheel wasn't rigged, the reason this happens is because the flipper is short. They had fixed the yellow flipper yesterday's episode by making it larger but they placed the old one back.

You could theoretically get even worse than that.
One time on US Wheel, the flipper managed to jump from the right side to the left, which would've been like skipping 1000 entirely for the other skinny BANKRUPT space.
Fortunately in the US, the only known time that happened was on a normal dollar value ($450 in this case).

It's so bizarre to me that the wheel doesn't have 100€ wedges anymore. Maybe that was an oversight when they redid the wheel?

Hey guys!!! I forgot to mention yesterday that the 17th anniversary was celebrated. They added a new category: "Llegó el aguafiestas" aka the party pooper came.
They also added a triple toss up before the jackpot round, each one is worth 100 euros but if you get them three you get 600 euros instead of 300. Just like the USA version!

This picture appears to be from a Wheel 2000 adaptation. The set looks just like the US Wheel 2000, and the Wheel has a "PRUEBA" wedge, which means "quiz". What I'm about to show you was uploaded back in November of 2017, but it wasn't until about an hour ago that I came across it. While the video's caption claims it's from 1995, the description and some of the comments know it's from no earlier than 1998. From the moment I first came across that photo, I had a feeling that this version was modeled after Wheel 2000, and this video of La Ruleta de la Fortuna Junior seemed to make that feeling even more ironclad.

A couple hours ago, I heard some news over at Facebook that Spanish Wheel is getting a nighttime version. Although the news is exciting, it shouldn't be that much of a surprise. If you ask me, out of all the versions of Wheel outside the United States that are currently on as I type this, Spain's version appears to be the most popular and most successful. I remember the short-lived Premium version in 2011, but now, it's back with a new look in La Ruleta de la Suerte Noche! Hopefully, this new version will be a success.
The first two videos shown are promos showing what to expect while the third is the full theme.
