Although I see a lot of threads for individual topics regarding Spanish Wheel, I'm thinking about starting a single thread for lousan92 that discusses it, or at least the history of it. To do that, let's start things off with a Boom. There's this Spanish show called Boom, where the object is to pick correct answers by snipping wires off a bomb. Pick a wrong answer, and... well... Boom. Anyway, here's a clip of that show that includes footage from one of the first ever episodes in the history of the Spanish Wheel franchise. Enjoy, Lousan! I think it's better!  Well, not much to see in this clips... Suprising to see that the wheel neither horizontal nor vertical, but with some inclination  I don't know which position is better for the players. In my opinion it's not so appealing as the current one. By the way, the semifinals of the 9th anniversary have begun today! Exclusively for this four shows, there is a 9th Anniversary wedge in the wheel where if you call a correct consonant, the host (Jorge) will give you a mini wedge. If you solve the puzzle with some of them, you will go to another wheel made with envelopes that contain questions about the history of the show (the current era), and every question awards between €250 and €500 I think. We weren't told which the exact values were. When they upload the show to the website I'll post it here! |

I know enough Spanish to tell you that it's actually the opposite there. You're supposed to leave the correct answer connected and cut the incorrect answers. (It sounds like what the plan for the American version will be based on available information, in your defense.) |

Yeah, I used to be able to watch some, and I mean some, of their episodes a while back, but now every time I'm clicking the play button, a registration form pops up. On top of that, the play button for this episode and the thumbnails for all the other episodes that are up have a medal in a shape of a star, stating to me that I need to "subscribe."
I'm just telling you what I'm getting.

Well, I'm sorry but I tried to record both shows but the TV didn't recorded them, I don't know why. But I have to show you this: 
I won the tournament! That's the trophy that the show would give to the winner. In my first show, I broke the bank and I won €9,975 (€6,975 + €3,000 in the BR). The second show was quite more difficult... Before the last round I had €500 and my mates had €875 and €1,325. But I landed on Bote and I won €3,300, so I won the show with €3,800. And I won the BR another time! There were €2,500 on the envelope, so my score for that show was €6,300. To sum up, between both shows I have won... €16,275! If I add the scores of the other shows (€3,675 and €700 from the 7th anniversary), I could say that La Ruleta has given to me €20,650. I'm so excited! |

No, it isn't. These videos are from the website of Antena 3, the channel where La Ruleta is aire, and they upload mostly fragments of shows or series. The other site is Atresplayer, the media site of the media enterprise which owns Antena 3 and more channels... And there are the full episodes of almost every show and series.

Thank you, Josh! The other Javi (who played with the red color) was a really good player: he spun the Wheel much better than me, in the sense that he almost never landed on Quiebra and Pierde Turno, so when he had the turn almost always resulted in a round win for him. I was so lucky on winning the last Toss-Up to start the Panel con Bote and finishing it (and winning the Bote, although in my last spin I didn't need it to go to the BR)! I'm so proud to be "the best player of La Ruleta" in its nine years of history  About the money, I have some plans: I promised to my brother that if I won more than 1,500 € I would buy him a PlayStation 4 (here costs 400 € more or less). I'll also pay my parents a new living room (which will cost about 3,000 € approximately). The rest, of course, will be for me. I will buy a new mobile phone (I don't know which mobile phone, but I will wait until the end of the year when all companies will have renovated their models) and I will try to get my driving license. And I will save the rest, you never know when you will need money. |
