I had a few extra listens and here's what I posted to the Buzzerblog post about the new music package.
I am not thrilled about a good portion of the music package. The new "theme" sounds like it belongs in one of those old school PAC-MAN chase sequences. Most of it just sounds like it doesn't fit the show. Especially when we get to the bonus round and we hear all those quick changes from spinning the bonus wheel, to the walk over, to the revealing of RSTLNE, to the contestant choose their 3C1V. It's a lot to take in and just doesn't flow smoothly. The bonus round solve cue does sound somewhat triumphant. The prize reveal music is good too.

Music is ultimately a minor component of the show... yes, it will grow on you even if it's an apathetic state of not caring, and it wont' be a big deal in a few months.

I really wasn't all that happy either with a lot of the music either, especially the Speed-Up. It didn't sound as intense as the previous Speed-Up theme did (it should be more intense as it's the last round of the maingame). The "wahp-wahp-wahp-wahp" made it sound even worse as MarioGS stated. The Toss-Up music sounded a little too techy but was otherwise okay. Ultimately, the Bonus Round music was among the best of it all in my opinion, but even that could've been slightly better. I was hoping Changing Keys would at least make some sort of cameo, but at least auditions still use the '84 theme. All in all, the music is similar to that of more recent game shows that were on for only a considerably short period of time (such as Deal or No Deal and The Million Second Quiz), and that's something that actually makes me fear that Wheel's days are numbered at this point. Wheel is a classic. Make it look and sound more like a classic.

Honestly, the one cue I did like was the new sting for a Bonus Round solve...and only the sting. The cue it immediately transitioned to was terrible. thiswheel13 hit the nail on the head. It doesn't even fit the show at all.

Am I the only one that thought the Bonus Round music sounded like the cues from the old "Pat Sajack Lucky Letters TV Guide Edtion" game?

I actually like all the new music (even if it does sound a bit off, but that's probably just because it's new). Then again, I also liked the new Jeopardy! board fill sound almost immediately, so...

The new music should have involved new cues, a new set... It seems that it doesn't fit the segments at all. I've only watched Monday episode, when I watch all of them I'll write my entire opinion.

The full bonus round clock is good. Also love the Bonus Round Loss Music.

Those of you watching Saturday reruns, I'm watching one right now and all the music has been replaced by the new package.

^Noticed that, too. I kind of expected this to happen due to (I'm assuming) the other music's copyright ending.

Oh brother...they went through all that work just to replace the music, even on reruns?

"Just" replacing the music is very likely to also avoid copyright trouble, so it can be justified.

It could also be that they want the reruns to seem consistent with the weekday shows and hope that people don't notice they're reruns, but the $33,000 envelope makes that difficult.

Blanquepage on YouTube posted yesterday's closing credits, in which a longer piece of the theme music can be heard. Just a word of warning, if you haven't watched the episode yet, don't click the link if you want to avoid knowing that night's winner. I must say, upon hearing more of it, it's growing on me... MarioGS, do you (or your source) know if Jeopardy! is due for a full revamp of its theme music later this season?

"Just" replacing the music is very likely to also avoid copyright trouble, so it can be justified. I thought the main reason they got rid of "Changing Keys" in the first place was to save money. Is the current music package even cheaper than the previous one?

After listening to the closing theme back on Friday, something hit me that this could be some sort of remix of the previous closing theme. I don't want to say for sure it is, but boy, is there something about that melody that tells me that it's a remix.

After watching all episodes of this week I can say that the music is not as bad as I thought the first day. However, I don't like the first pieces that we hear in every episode: the theme music and the one for Toss-Ups. Aside from that, the BR music is OK for me, and I prefer the new Speed-Up music rather than the old one. If it was a little faster it would be better, though. And the solve cues are also good.

My biggest gripes about the music: ---The opening theme sounds like I accidentally switched the channel to Univision. ---The TU solve and main round solve cues need to be swapped. ---The Speed-up music is way too underground lounge-ish sounding. Like Pat said, "Supper Club".
Other than that, all is ok.
