World Series Game 2 ran until about 11:34 Eastern. Wheel should air in its entirety in Hawaii tonight. Game 5 is now necessary, but this does not affect Wheel.

On November 10 at 7:30 PM (PST), the Country Music Awards will air their red carpet ceremony instead of Wheel. So that day’s episode and the following one will be pushed back a day. I’m not sure about the November 12 episode.

^ In KGO's case, likely Saturday 11/13 at 10:00 PM Pacific in place of the rerun, even if the guides still list it as a rerun.
Reminder that the CMA Red Carpet special at 7:30 ET/PT only airs on ABC O&O's (produced by KABC) and Nexstar-owned ABC stations (produced by WKRN).

TUESDAY 11/2 (#S-7462)
The FOX pre-emptions continue tonight with World Series Game 6. If the Braves win tonight, Wheel will not be pre-empted on FOX affiliates tomorrow, but if the Astros win, it will.

Catching up on a couple of past notes...
SATURDAY 10/30 (#S-7265RR)
I didn't witness it, but several tweets implied that for the first time in years, CBS's 3:30 college football game ended on time even with postgame, so all East Coast airings of Wheel's Halloween rerun (that don't already move to other slots like on WBNS or WKYT) should have been fully intact.
THURSDAY 11/4 (#S-7464)KIMT in Rochester, Minnesota (CBS) accidentally repeated 7463 this day.

WEDNESDAY 11/10 (#S-7468)
Tonight's Wheel is pre-empted on all ABC O&O's and 7:30 ET/PT airings on Nexstar-owned ABC affiliates for the CMA red carpet.
The O&O's are no longer using Localish as a backup for Wheel. This is now the third time in S39 alone Wheel has been pre-empted on WABC, and all three makegoods have been overnight instead of moving the show to Localish or giving the rest of the week the one-day-delay treatment, which is harder to do during college football season when there's little room to air Wheel on Saturdays.
Air times for Wednesday's episode on affected affiliates are as follows: REGION
| STATION | WOF AIRING
| TIME ZONE
| New Haven, CT
| WTNH | Moved to WCTX (MyTV)
| ET
| Phialdelphia, PA
| WPVI | 2:37 AM
| ET | New York, NY
| WABC | 3:05 AM
| ET | Raleigh, NC
| WTVD | 3:07 AM
| ET | Nashville, TN
| WKRN | 12:37 AM
| CT | Midland, TX
| KMID | Unknown (Wheel still listed)
| CT | Chicago, IL
| WLS | 3:06 AM
| CT | Fresno, CA
| KFSN | 2:36 AM
| PT | Los Angeles, CA
| KABC
| Saturday 9:30 PM? (see below)
| PT
| San Francisco, CA
| KGO
| One-Day Delay (7470 airs 10:00 PM Saturday)
| PT |
KABC is unclear. Their website has no Wheel at all on Wednesday, and Saturday's airing is listed at 9:30 PM Pacific, even though the Saturday reruns have been airing at 9:00, before J! instead of after. On the website, Wheel is listed as a new "America's Game" episode on Saturday at 9:30 following J!'s rerun at 9:00. This is most likely accurate. Other listings show no airing of Wednesday's episode at all, with the Season 38 "Ultimate Adventures" rerun listed for Saturday at 9:00. Saturday will most likely have a new episode on KABC, but I'd tune in at 9:00 just in case KABC has J!/WOF swapped, which they've done before. It's possible they're putting Wheel later this one time since it's a new ep and J! isn't, and to make absolute sure that the ep won't be cut off by college football if it runs abnormally long.
It is unknown if KMID is airing the red carpet special. They did air it in 2019. Wheel is still listed at the normal time on all sources tonight, but if the special does air, Wheel will probably air at 12:07 or 1:07 AM Central.
By the way, WTNH wasn't going to air this ep at all until I convinced them that they should be able to move it to WCTX or to the weekend, shortly after which they "received permission" to move it. Speak up and hopefully CBS Media Ventures will stop letting the show get mistreated so much.

A couple other anomalies regarding Wednesday... On WXIA in Atlanta (NBC), the promo that normally airs around 6:57 said that the show would air on WATL, its sister station, implying that it would be pre-empted. However, Wheel still aired on WXIA. Not sure if it also aired on WATL since Locast was my only way of accessing that station. It was likely that they just put the wrong "end card" on the promo today. On WBFF in Baltimore (FOX), the Bonus Round did not air. The segment was replaced with extra commercials and FOX primetime started at 8:00 as usual.

THURSDAY 11/11 (#S-7469)
On WANE in Fort Wayne, Indiana and WROC in Rochester, New York, both CBS affiliates, Wheel is pre-empted for local Veterans Day specials, as is the case every year. Wheel will air at 1:37 AM Eastern on both stations.
Also, this is the first Thursday Night Football broadcast after the time change. Since Hawaii does not observe Daylight Savings Time, this means TNF now pre-empts KHON's 6:00 newscast, which now moves to 6:30 and forces Wheel to move to 7:00 PM Hawaii Time. However, this now means that for the rest of the season, if TNF overruns at all (past 11:30 Eastern), Wheel will be joined in progress or skipped, since the 6:00 news always runs for a full 30 minutes.

KABC and KGO are both airing 7468 right now, meaning the rest of the week is airing on a one-day delay and Friday's episode will air Saturday night after college football.

TNF ran until midnight ET, so no Wheel in Hawaii tonight.
KHON used to move Wheel to 8:00 for post-DST TNF. Not sure why they want to screw the show even more by giving it zero overrun margin.

Desiree from Friday’s episode said in the WOF Facebook group that she was not informed that KABC was delaying her episode. She held a viewing party last night, only to see the episode before hers. 😭

You know what else we got the 40th anniversary coming up so don't forget but you've already seen season 39 took everything in change so it's just the 40th anniversary is the same but the music intro changes and when the show starts it opens with the very first clip from S1 1983 When it came on ABC IN 1983 however there will be some clips from the other wolf the breakfast version that stared in the 70s on NBC before The dinner version on ABC IN 1983 because wheel of fortune will really be 48 Years since it first came on in 1975 there will have that and the past clips of Wheel from the last 39 Years also there will be more differnces big ones between S39 And S40 S39 Changes 1. Music The music now has the changing keys again since 2005 they had used it but now it's back it uses it on the intro and the end credits everything from the toss up toss up solve cue speed up bouns round bouns spin rstlne reveal letter picking bouns round bouns solve bouns cue slice bouns win prize reveal in game puzzle cue solve and commerical break expect for the final spin when the wheel spins which I will get to
2. Set the is final changed it colud have waited til at least the 40th since we're a year away from the 40th but because it's been 10 technically 18 Years since the set was remade in 2003 it's remade now it also uses its some of its set from The primetime edtion to the plain Wheel of fortune 3. Free play is dead The free play is actually 10 Years since its debut in 2009 on the 27th seaseon after 11 Years of the wegde it's gone With just a yellow 850 wegde that now means the free spin and play is gone all toghter which means you now have one turn so your at risk now at losing your turn if you even make 1 mistake well too bad
4. Pat retires the final spin wheel Pat has now ceased with the wheel the player who spins now gets to spin the wheel themselves now after the bell rings 5. Toss up The person who solves all 3 toss ups Winn $10,000 S40 changes most of these are carried over from s39 but they are some differences between 1. Retired wedges With it being 40 Years on TV they will bring back some wedges Such as the surprise wegde The free spin wegde and the $100 and $200 wegde the $10000 wegde and The recent jackpot wegde from 2012 The 30th annivary and a brand new wegde a $7500 wegde they will be used in each seprate rounds 2. Bouns round minimum The bouns round minimum will be $40000
3. There will be a 40k giveway Giving away 40k every day
4. New categorys The New categories will be The 2000s And The 2010s solveing past history puzzles from events of the 2000s and 2010s Past winners The past winners who won $1 in past 39 Years will be back to compete in the 40th annivary and from the breakfast version and from the primetime edtion to win $40 million dollars and 40k in the 40k give way and possilby a shot at $1 millions The 40th anniversary kicks off September 12th 2022

9341490 Welcome to the forums! Since you are new here, I'd like to encourage you to stay on topic of threads that are posted here. For example, this thread is about just preemptions, so try to stick to that. Also, try to space out your posts better so that they aren't just one wall of text. I have provided an example above where I edited your post. Thanks!

SATURDAY 11/13 (#S-7280RR)
As expected, KABC aired "new" episode #S-7470 at 9:30 PM PT (not 9:00 like the reruns up to this point) and KGO aired it at 10:00 PM. KABC also properly promoted the contestants from this episode on Twitter earlier that day.
CBS college football ran until about 7:45 ET, so no East Coast CBS airings aired in their entirety, if at all. ABC's game, however, ended on time, so no West Coast airings were affected.
The original airing of this episode was pre-empted on a couple small NBC affiliates by holiday parades, but the rerun should have aired at its normal time.
Both airings of this episode were pre-empted in Boston, the first time due to Pats All Access, being a Friday episode. At least the first time, it aired at all. The rerun airing was wiped due to the overrun.

MONDAY 11/15 (#S-7271)
Tonight's MNF is Rams and 49ers. Wheel is pre-empted in both teams' cities.
In Los Angeles, KABC will air Monday's episode at 2:37 AM Pacific.
In San Francisco, KGO will air it at 3:30 AM Pacific. It might be a good idea to also DVR the show after Wheel (America This Morning) since the pre-empted primetime ABC networks programs are airing immediately following the game and will most likely slide if it runs late (this is not the case on KABC, which is doing local postgame until 9:00 PT, then airing DWTS).
KABC's website has Saturday's airing of Wheel listed as a new episode, but it's probably a mistake. Zap2It lists it as the S38 rerun. Both sources have it listed at 9:30 like last weekend instead of 9:00.

Starting today, WBZ Boston will be pre-empting Wheel for three days in a row for Patriots specials. Four days if you count Saturday inevitably getting covered up with the end of football.
Due to an additional Pats All Access on Wednesday and a Pats pregame special on Thursday, Wheel will air at 1:37 AM Eastern on both those days, and the usual 2:07 AM on Friday night.

There may have been an accidental switch-up on WTOL. My grandmother, who watches wheel on that affiliate, told me of the results of the maingame of the episode she watched, but what I saw was inconsistent with that account. On that episode (the following will be in spoiler format in case it is a future episode)... ...the winning contestant won by only $100... but on the episode I watched, the winning contestant's margin of victory was about $1,600. I looked at a couple of recap sites, and they both described the episode I watched, so WTOL might have accidentally aired a different one than intended.
