For those in Houston or those who know the Paramount+ trick, KHOU in Houston will be airing Thanksgiving's episode early at 1 PM Eastern/12 PM Central.

Any East Coast CBS station or West Coast NBC station not mentioned above is not airing Thursday's Wheel at all.


SPORTS OVERRUNS

Mountain Time Zone airings on CBS affiliates are in danger of getting joined in progress or skipped if CBS's game runs over, mainly 6:00 PM airings. KRQE in Albuquerque will likely run the other game show in its entirety and JIP or skip Wheel afterwards if this happens, as they usually do.

East Coast FOX airings are also in danger of being joined in progress if MLS Soccer runs more than 30 minutes over. It is scheduled to run until 6:30 ET. If it runs past 7:00 ET/6:00 CT, Wheel will likely be impacted on WDAF in Kansas City since they usually run their 6:00 news for a full 30 minutes if it follows sports overrun.

KTAB Abilene's early airing has also been pulled. Both it and KHOU will instead air Wheel at 12:37 AM CT or whenever Corden finishes.

KLST San Angelo is our last hope and I don't have much hope that this one will slip by them.

FOX affiliate programming was JIP'd around 6:53 ET. No airings of Wheel appear to have been affected by this. It is currently airing right now on WXIX in Cincinnati and WSYT in Syracuse, despite the latter's listings saying it would be pre-empted.

FRIDAY 11/26 (#S-7480)

Wheel is directly pre-empted on:

• All East Coast FOX affiliates
• Some East Coast ABC and CBS affiliates due to delayed 6:00 newscasts
• WTHR in Indianapolis (NBC) by a local holiday parade
• WBZ in Boston (CBS) by Patriots All Access

Due to various sporting events today, Wheel is also in danger of being pre-empted in part or in full on:

• All 7:00 ET airings on ABC and CBS, and some 7:30/6:30 CT airings following newscasts, if either network's game runs over
• KDVR in Denver if FOX's game runs 30+ minutes over

CBS's game ended at 6:54 but postgame will make the broadcast run past 7:00.

ABC still has 5:30 left on the clock as I'm typing this. 7:00 airings here likely won't begin until at least R4.

I didn't have time to go through all of them, but I caught the following scheduled 6:30 CT airings of Wheel partially replaced with delayed 30-minute newscasts:

KOLN - Lincoln, NE (CBS)
WAKA - Montgomery, AL (CBS)
WIBW - Topeka, KS (CBS) (this airing abruptly cut in mid-R2)
WLS - Chicago, IL (ABC O&O)

Counting Saturday, WROC Rochester pre-empted Wheel four days in a row this week, but tonight ended up being a good thing because their 7:00 news was still running at 7:30, so J! presumably got JIP'd on there.

Also worth noting that in past years, WPVI Philadelphia would run local news after the game likely to ensure Jeopardy! could air in its entirety in an overnight slot or on Localish, with Wheel getting JIP'd after the news if there was overrun. They did not do this this year; J! began starting with the DJ! round, and Wheel aired fine afterwards. WABC JIP'd J! on the second clue of the round, and their broadcast had a couple of minor glitches in the portion they did air.


WTVD Raleigh ran the full episode of Wheel from about 7:15-43. After the closing logos, a brief ABC 11 bumper aired, then J! abruptly cut in (even though it normally airs before Wheel) during the Delorean clue in the first round.

FOX's game ended super early, shortly after 7:00, but they still had to fill time until 8:00.
