Oh. Well, that's good. You'd think they'd mention that ability explicitly, though...

Just noticed a glitch from the videos that are up already...when the Jackpot is hit, the $500 is added to the Jackpot first, then $500 for each letter lit up that turn is added as well (example: calling a double after hitting Jackpot will add $1,500 to it).

Wow! Vanna actually gets a chance to talk more. Mario, sue! That PP moniker is a ripoff! Hahaha I can't wait to play. It's looking like it's gonna be a decent game! There actually is a 25 second promo for the game...

To answer cu's question, the stages on the Xbox version are the six stages that are available on the Wii version; however, there are also five additional stages on the Xbox game. The stages added for the Xbox version are New Orleans, Cruise Week, Great Outdoors, Halloween and Happy Holidays.
EDIT: Since this game uses the Season 29 rules, is the Same Letter category in this game or do you have to download puzzles for Same Letter?

Here's some HD gameplay. A couple more things... - The 1/2 Car tag over $450 awards $500 per letter - The minimum in the BR is still $25K Oh, and for anybody who has either these or the Wii versions...has the computer player EVER lost the Bonus Round? It seems like they're programmed to win no matter what...

My goodness. Now that we've got a clear, not a shitty camera-at-TV shot, those graphics are absolutely abysmal. The set looks cartoonish and distorted, the voices do not match the character animations, and something about the wheel just looks off. This is not what I expect out of a PS3/360 game. Hell, I think the Wii version looked better! Other than that, it's the damn Wii game, with (allegedly, they sure as hell aren't) HD graphics. Really, the only reason I'd pick this up if I had either of those consoles is for online play. Otherwise, I wouldn't even bother. But that's just me.

Just got it a few hours ago and I've played 2 games so far. I noticed all the things that Mario noticed. I like it a lot. Much better than the Wii version. Here's some other things I saw: at the end of each game, you use what you won in the game to "buy" various things such as new locations, clothes for the avatars, set pieces, cars, and video packs. The video packs are just the animated Mii intros from Season 28. The graphics are much better than the Wii, but not the best I've ever seen. Overall, it's worth the $30, in my opinion.

Okay, now this is a change for the better. Unlocking the sets was a pain in the Wii version, and enabling you to "purchase" things at least adds some value to the worthless fake money, and adds a little bit of replay value to what is otherwise a "play once, never again*" kind of game. *Single-player, that is. I find this kind of game to be incredibly fun when played against real humans, and incredibly dull played single player. I won a million bucks. Whoopie-frickin-doo. It's not real money, so I don't care.

The set looks cartoonish and distorted, the voices do not match the character animations, and something about the wheel just looks off. The wedges on the Wii Wheel looks very glossy and they were all beveled. The PS3/360 ones are only slightly beveled and are solidly colored, making them look kind of like colored blocks, plus the number vectors are a tad out of rotation. And what's up with the 2 on the $2500? And the gradient on the $3500 looks off and is way too light.

Are there any levels of difficulty because I swear hardly anybody mans up and play on anything other than easy. Yep, there's one up there on Medium (embedded below), George, and probably one on Hard by tomorrow, by the same guy, Aubrey, since it's his 2nd game (1st on easy, 2nd on medium, 3rd likely on hard, etc.) Since you're likely wondering, the CPU intelligence is still programmed the same as the Wii game. This means for Easy, if there's one character left (say R), no matter the number of Rs left, computer would then solve, Medium meaning 2 characters left (R and S, for example), and Hard meaning 3 characters left (R, S, and T). With a physical example of the puzzle BLUEBERRY MUFFIN: _LUE_ERRY MUFFIN, the Easy CPU will solve here, since only one character (the B) is left. _LU_ _ _ RRY MUFFIN, the Medium CPU will solve here, since 2 characters are left (B, E). _ LU _ _ _ RRY MU_ _ I N, the Hard CPU will solve here, since 3 characters are left (B, E, F). This truly isn't too much of an advantage, but can really hurt you with shorter puzzles (like the LARGE glitch in the Wii games, since that puzzle was always a Trip Puzzle, with Quebec assigned to it). It does make toss-ups notably harder though, but not so much the maingame, to be honest.

Oh yeah, I was gonna post something about that. I've won the 1/2 car twice, and that's what it was worth both times. I did win the million for the first time today (along with my 2nd 1/2 car win), and Jim says the same thing Charlie did: "It's your biggest payday yet..." after Pat does his: "Whoa-ho! The million dollars is yours!" I haven't won $100k, so I don't know what's said there... Sets can still be won as bonus prizes; that's how I unlocked Hollywood... Gift Tags are played for props; mini-games for clothes, art concepts, and such as the Wii version is...

I found a video with a $100K win. Whatever Jim says starts with "We're giving you a check that...", then the rest is drowned out by the player freaking out.

Here's a video of the game being played on hard difficulty. The video comes from YouTube user MathewV21688.

I won the $100k for the first time last night, and Jim used my favorite line: "Player 1, here's thousands of reasons to celebrate--one hundred thousand dollars!"
