There's not much of a difference in that color scheme and the current one, just that there's now green and only one shade of orange.

From what I could gather, the wedge looks something like this...
EDIT: More accurate rendition posted on page 13 based on a low-quality picture on page 12, and final version posted on page 16.
There is "some movement within the background blue with some white".

Good luck to you and remember, the Wheel giveth and the Wheel taketh away.
I sent in my audition tape for Teen Week about a week ago.

they meant to ask about it (in case they ever thought there would be a good opportunity to use it on $900), but forgot. I might consider using the WC on $900 (or another higher non-TDV) if it's round 4+ and getting close to the final spin time, and I'm close enough behind that the extra few hundred bucks might make a difference. Or if I'm way behind and barring Pat hitting the $5K, there's no way I'd catch up so the WC would likely go to waste anyway. But during the first three rounds, I'd definitely save it for $2500 or $3500.

I wonder if next season, the numeral amount "$500" will be added on the Free Play Wedge.

I suppose there's a small chance the one unknown week is 6000th, we'll see. It wouldn't surprise me. Even if they haven't actually reached that number yet, they'll just pretend like they did. If history repeats itself, the week of #S-6000 will either A) consist of sixth-show episodes like the week of #5,000 or B) be celebrated in a sweeps month like #3,000 and #4,000 -- in this case, most likely May. (Also, the Express Wedge looks pretty nice. )

I should have posted this earlier today, before I left for countless errands this afternoon, but I had only thought of it while I was out:
I'm going to the tapings early tomorrow evening and Saturday morning. Subject to admin approval, of course (and I will PM first, because I was raised to be polite), and besides what's in R1, if anything, is there anything else anyone wants to know?
Edited to add: I just found out from my mom that we're leaving between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. for the Strip. If I don't catch further messages before then, I'll keep them in mind for Saturday morning's shows. Unfortunately, we don't have tickets to the final taping later on Saturday. I would have loved to see those too.

Does the Million Dollar Wedge give $500/cosonant. That's one thing. I'm sure all the themes/sound fxs are the same.

Subject to admin approval, of course (and I will PM first, because I was raised to be polite), and besides what's in R1, if anything, is there anything else anyone wants to know? A few things come to mind: * The individual directing the show. * What kind of opening is used (assuming it's not one specifically themed to that week). * The themes of the tapings, and their scheduled airdates. * Anything about Express that hasn't already been confirmed (I don't think it's much, but hey). * I'm not sure if they're still drawn during the tapings, but what's being done with the SPIN IDs now (if anything).

I've got to do my usual freelance job first, compiling job listings for a freelance writing newsletter that's fortunately owned by someone else, so I get paid, and then before I go to bed, I'll start a list on one of my small yellow legal pads and put that paper in the book I'll bring with me to the taping (something to do before). Your question is on the list, woffan4ever. Wario, my family has to seek handicap-accessible seating when we get there, since my mom's partially disabled, so I'll ask the PA we get if it's Bob Cisneros or L. David Irete. I've memorized their names, since I'm curious too. The front page of this thread says that the Saturday morning taping I'm going to is for "Taste of the Good Life." Does anyone know what tomorrow evening's taping would be? Are they finishing up New Year's or is that done?

Now, since you can buy vowels for $250 apiece, even during the Express run, what if you're on the Express run and only vowels are left? Can you solve it, or are you forced to buy vowels until the puzzle is 100% revealed?

germanname1990, players on Express can solve whenever they wish. They don't have to fill in the puzzle completely (or all the consonants, but why wouldn't you if you know the puzzle? ) Just wanted to make sure. So, since there's one larger value (by only 3.5 times), you're better off getting all the consonants in the puzzle for the sure $1000 apiece rather than trying to spin up $3500 and risk going Bankrupt or spinning up a smaller value (a la "Let's Make a Deal"). Now, would they tell you there are only vowels left or would you have to figure that out for yourself? I'm guessing it's the former for the sake of the other players should the Express player somehow slip up.

Here's an interesting, though small picture. While it still doesn't show a good view of Express, its structure appears to be closer to that of Free Play rather than Jackpot. They have also "re-cut" the Wheel templates. With Jackpot, there was a blank red wedge with holes for the plugs. Judging by this picture, it appears there are now only two "sections" rather than the apparent three they've had since S27 (in S30, they were Bankrupt-$650, blue $700-Top dollar, Wild Card's $500-pink $900). They now likely span clockwise from blue $300 to $650 and from blue $700 to yellow $900. And a better look of the Valentine's Day graphic...

This is really confusing, at the moment... So it seems that Mystery is randomized to R1-2 and Express and PP are randomized to R2-3 under the condition that all three gimmicks don't end up all in the same round. Wonder what this means concerning the round the Prize Wedge is available. Could it be out for all of R1-3 again? IMO, the easiest thing to do is just make all three gimmicks their own rounds. Mystery/PP/Express would probably be most ideal, IMO. Express should be last because it's the ultimate "catch-up risk". Oh, and best of luck to Dandi taping today!

I haven't seen many stranger things than this... given that there will always be a gimmick in Round 2 and 3, how could the Mystery Round be anywhere but Round 1 without being attached to a gimmick? :?

I'm really scared if they actually did Mystery & Express in the same round. That makes no sense at all, and I'm afraid where the $1000s may end up, because I doubt they would do a mystery $1000 and then Express.
Why are they always inconsistent with their stuff? They should not be insisting on "testing" new round configurations with actual shows, it's not a test then, you're being unfair to contestants! Simulate the stuff instead!
Yeah, just because we don't care that much if you swear doesn't give you an excuse to do it all the time. Calm down.

I could only imagine where the Express would go. There wouldn't be a single place to put it without consecutive cardboard spaces, unless you put it on $650...
Test the configurations out, do a poll with the staff, simulate them with a few third parties, and then decide.

Red $700 is the only option because that and where FP is are the only places on the Wheel that allow electronic wedges to be plugged in.
