Well, I think this bet has more sense than the other... I know the image is very ugly: I don't have the real fonts (Free Play ) and I have used PowerPoint to make it. If $500 is the lowest value, I think there could be perfectly two $550 spaces (in S29 we didn't have any $700 and next season two wild $700 appeared ). $750 could be a great deal to enlarge the range and, as we have two $700 already, the third could be replaced perfectly by this new $750 wedge ($650 replaced $600, for example). In my own, I think nowadays Wheel doesn't care too much about new values... So the $450 space could become another $600 (it would be the third lowest value).

Well, if that's what you think about the show with new values, I can't blame you, but that doesn't stop me one bit from hoping for new values. As much as I'm looking forward to $750 returning, I am really, really hoping for $850 and $950 to show up because those were two of the three $X50 values I did not get to grow up with, the third being $650, which was why I was unspeakably excited two years ago when I knew that $650 was returning from the dead.
So if anyone has already been a contestant on a Season 32 episode, please let me know if you saw $750, $850, and/or $950 on the Wheel. Those are the only spoilers (if they are spoilers) that I care about at this point.

If those values got into the show it would be great, but the values of the Wheel are the part of the show that I care less (although, of course, I am interested in it). As I said in the other topic, my only hope for this season is that they split up the Express and the PP into different rounds to balance a bit the gameplay.

Well I'm just ready for the full wheel to come out so we can see all the changes and tear the wheel apart in full

Those are the only spoilers (if they are spoilers) that I care about at this point. About 98% of contestants wouldn't even remember, nor would they care to look out for what's on the Wheel. We really need pictures to confirm any new amounts, or have someone from this forum go to a taping.

Well, okay, I wouldn't be surprised on that, but mark my words, I'm sure you would all know I'd be that other 2% if I made it to the show. In fact, I'd probably be the less than 0.29% who'd know all the layouts by heart by the time my episode was done taping.

Oh, I wouldn't be surprised with you being the layout guru that you are. I remember how long it took me to memorize the color changes in Season 24. Though I'm sure I could remember the new layouts had I gone to one of those tapings. I sadly don't have plans to go to LA this July, either, but hopefully we'll get some opportune pictures then.

My other thoughts about this change basically amount to this: they couldn't have done this when I was on? That yellow $400 (now $700) was one of my main sources of income!

Guys, I've been checking Instagram for any new info about the Season 32 layout. I just saw a video of a promo freshly uploaded in Detroit to Instagram which clearly shows the yellow $700, and here's the first time I've ever gotten to post something with a spoiler. I'm posting a spoiler just in case so mods are free to do whatever they want with this. Other than the value changes, not much has seemed to change for Round 1. $2500 still appears to be top value and the Million Dollar Wedge, Wild Card, and Gift Tag are in the same positions as they were in Season 31. Although I heard going into Season 31 that Mystery Wedges were going to be in Round 1 for the first time in its existence, that does not seem to be the case here.
As for the two spaces counterclockwise of the Bankrupt adjacent to TDV, I cannot figure out their exact value, but I can confirm that both end in double zero. The yellow $900 appears to be the same. Other than that, I can't figure out the rest. I know it's not much, but it's something.

If $300 and $400 are gone, that means there will be less variety on the wheel. The numbers are going to be too repetitive. At this point, they really should increase the cost of vowel-buying to $500.

The full Wheel has been revealed... $450 is now a $650 and the orange $300 is now $900. The $5000 wedge still being on there heavily implies that there is STILL nothing else above $900 in R4+. -_- Digital version:

Before today, I was a little worried about that $450 being a second $650 instead of a $750, $850, or $950. Time for me to make my hopeful Season 33 layouts now.
Since that $450 space had been valued at that since 1975, I was really hoping for a worthy $500 increase to $950. Oh, well. Hopefully any one of those $900 spaces will be $950 soon enough.
And this is the first time in 15 years since the minimum value was increased. Let's taut this all up. Shall we?
Daytime $25: First couple months of 1975 $50: Another couple months of 1975 and for a brief period in late 1989 $100: Late 1975 all the way to summer 1989 and back again in late 1989
Nighttime $100: 1983 to 1984 and one more time in January 1986 $150: 1984 to January 1986 and again until 1996 $250: 1996 to 1999 $300: 1999 to 2014 $500: Current

They wouldn't have $950 but not $750 and $850. I was expecting the $450 to be a $750 since that $X50 value would make the most sense. The frequency (and variety) of values is so unbalanced right now. They have one $550 but two $650's, and they have THREE $900's which is even more insulting to the fact that they're so hesitant to have anything above that amount. This is how I would have done it, after quickly making the new layout in YouSpin and then making a few changes. Here's a sneak peek of what I'll probably be doing in future Game On! games. My vowels will likely have to go up to $700.

What can I say? I don't like it very much. At least they could have introduced the $750 wedge... And hey, if someone doubted about $650 returning, don't worry, you have it for double Now we have only seven different values aside from the TDV rather than eleven (I think that for you all is more shocking, as in La Ruleta we also have seven values: €0, €25, €50, €75, €100, €150 and €200, and apart from that the €1,000 wedge. Curiously I recently discovered that in the early days of La Ruleta there was also a €250 space). And, of the 19 cash spaces different from the top dollar space in the Wheel, 6 are $500 (more than 1/4). They should remove some of the $500 spaces. If they wanted, the $500 rule for wedges and tokens could still be applied, and after picking them from the Wheel there would be more variety.

Before anything is done that stupid $500-$550-$600 progression needs to go. It's awful.

...Huh. Well, here's hoping the vowel cost has increased, because otherwise it's looking even more absurd with a $500 minimum on the Wheel. "But it's always been $250!" Yeah, and it's been absurd since $250 became the minimum value in 1996. Used to be, you had to earn vowels, whether through multiple letter calls or a single letter on a high enough space; now it's just "You called a correct letter! Wanna buy a vowel?" Now get off my lawn, I need to take some Geritol.

The minimum really needs to increase. I sent Mario a layout and he made it for me and I'm bumping my vowel cost to $1,000... even with it being $500 on my current layout it's kinda the same way you just described.

We haven't seen the two wedges which are clockwise from $5,000 yet. But surely they will remain the same.
