I am new to this site but not Wheel of Fortune.I think they should make the $900 by Bankrupt $950 keep the $650 on the other side of Bankrupt and change the $700 next to lose a turn to $750.Change the $800 next to lose a turn to $850.Adding values like this to the wheel would stop the overuse of the same amount such as the one we are seeing now with the $500.It would go Bankrupt $950,$500,$750,$600,$500,$700,$550,$800,$600,$750,$900,$500,$5,000,Bankrupt,$600,$700,$500,$650,$850,Lose A Turn,$750,Free Play.Maybe it's time for a whole new wheel layout anyway. This is the old Round 3 one from the late 80'sthat was redone win 1996.I miss the the days when they would change the layout 3 times a show. That could probably be covered in the Real Wheels section. I assume the colors would be the same?

You know, I just thought of something... Wouldn't it be hilarious if the Mystery Round bumper STILL isn't updated this season? I mean, that thing still has $300 and $400 on it, and no absolutely no wedges in that span of the layout are the same between Seasons 25 and 32 except for the orange $800 which isn't even pictured.

If it was me I would reduce the orange $900 down to $600 just to even the pattern based on the three $700 wedges. Also I would increase the pink $650 to $750. Since the wheel now has a $500 minimum, I would suggest raising the price for vowels to $500. I know a lot of fans will disagree with me on the idea of raising the price for vowels, but all of the wedges that are under $500 are retired.

I'm not one of those who disagree with you, Gradyz033. In fact, I said a few weeks ago that I'm expecting the price of vowels to be $500.
Now one of the other things I've noticed was that for every season since the 29th, at least one value on the barren layout has been changed. With that in mind, am I expecting them to change the barren layout for Season 33 next year? Oh, absolutely.

I feel most of the fanbase (including me) would actually agree with higher vowels, and have for the past few years now. In fact, with a minimum value of $500, $750 would be more ideal

What I was thinking... What if the new minimum value of the Wheel changed another stuff on the show? I mean, a new house minimum, a new add-on cash to the consonants in the Speed-Up (presumably the same of the house minimum as it happens now, or happened), or even new prizes for Toss-Ups.

Finally a true full Wheel picture. No surprise, the green $500 and yellow $900 were not changed.

What'd I tell you, folks? I knew those two were going to be valued that way after seeing that Detroit promo.
So, for the first time since September 1987, there are going to be three $900 spaces on the Wheel.
And for the first time since September 2013, there are going to be six $500 spaces on the Wheel! LOL!!
Now to see what those Mystery Wedges look like. [chuckles]

Putting all humor aside, I just realized that there's a small sense of irony here.
When Wheel premiered on NBC almost four decades ago, $500 was the largest dollar value for Round 1. Almost four decades later, $500 is now the smallest.

I don't like this Wheel layout at all. When Season 31 was the current season of Wheel of Fortune, here's what I had in mind for the S32 Wheel layout.
Bankrupt - Bankrupt $650 - $650 Free Play - Big Bank (an element that allows contestants to get back everything lost to Bankrupt in cash and prizes) $700 - $750 Lose a Turn - Lose a Turn $800 - $800 $500 - $550 (Cardboard can award different amounts of money per letter than just $500, you know. Free Spin gave $300 per letter in Season 25-26.) $450 - $450 $500 - $700 $300 - $350 Bankrupt - Bankrupt Top Dollar Value - Top Dollar Value (Blank white wedge replaced with $5,000; $2,500 and $3,500 put over $5,000 in Rounds 1-3.) $500 - $500 $900 - $900 $700 - $700 $300 - $600 $800 - $800 $500 - $550 $400 - $400 $500 - $500 $600 - $600 $350 - $350 $500 - $500 $900 - $950
What do you think of this layout? This one reduces the amount of $500s, puts two $550s on the Wheel, returns $750, introduces $950 for the first time in gameplay and makes $350 the minimum.

A lot of people feel you, jmo. In fact, a lot of people have been complaining about value variety. I spent the last few minutes making a chart of all the different values and special wedges used on different barren American layouts used on the show (since they technically weren't used on the show, the layouts used in home games, auditions and slot machines don't count). There are three different Wheel layouts that are tied for the largest number of different wedges (21), all of them from the pilots.
1973 Rounds 3 and 4 1974 Rounds 2 and 4
Brazil's current version beats them by 1.
Apart from the pilots, the most known varied layout is the one from Round 3 from when the show premiered on January 6, 1975, and it's very likely going to be the only one since 1975 to have that much variety unless any of the Round 2 layouts from that year end up tying it.
For anyone who has to know set piece layouts, both the turntable layouts from late 1987 tie at 17.

Germanname, what do you think of my layout? I want to get opinions from people on the layout that I mentioned I had for Season 32. I think it would have made a much better layout.

Your layout is pretty cool, jmo. I'm not so sure about the Big Bank wedge, though...

I find the layout okay, jmo. My big thing is that I don't see $850. If you could give one of the $800 spaces a $50 increase, which one would you give it to? Also, I'd bring the $350 by the Bankrupt back down to $300.
And eventually, regular Wheel Watchers should know the barren layout by now. I feel a bit insulted that the producers probably think we don't already know it already. Why are the producers trying to show the values underneath? Do they think regular Wheel Watchers were born yesterday or the day before at the earliest? If so, they're probably the ones who were born yesterday if not the day before.
Producers, we figured out the whole new layout even before the season premiered! You better not even think for one moment about telling us that we didn't!

Genius2751, Big Bank is a wedge I have in mind which collects the total of cash and prizes when a contestant hits Bankrupt, which would allow any contestant who spins this wedge and calls a correct letter to get everything that was lost to Bankrupt, allowing one to get back as much just as easily as it can be lost to Bankrupt. I think this would make a great gameplay element for the show. It is very similar to the Big Bank spaces that Whammy used in Season 2.

I'm not too crazy about the Big Bank wedge either, jmo (that's wht I forgot to mention last time), but if it were to make it to the show, here's what I'd do.
I'd come up with a different name. For example, some fans call it Vault. How Vault is done is that it behaves like the Million Dollar wedge only with a Lose A Turn on the right peg. Landing in the center slot and calling a correct letter awards the contents in the Vault.
Here's what I would do differently. Instead of just calling a correct letter on Vault, I would have it awarded the same exact way that the 1996-2013 Jackpot was.
