And replace it with the 1983 theme.

Or, if they absolutely must use Happy Wheels, at least use the far superior 2000 version...

My thought on changes for the show:
1. Change the board, the current border is getting boring and it has been 8 years. 2. Bring back the surprise and use that as a prize, the trips get stale. 3. Move the wild card back to the $700 (change the $500 spot to that) and move the other half Kia to the LaT $300. 4. Move the free play to the Green $300. 5. Make the Prizes reclaimable after they were bankrupted, or not kept after being solved. 6. Adjust the bonus wheel to make more of the amounts not the lowest amount on the wheel. 7. Move the $5000 to R3 and add a bigger amount to round 4 ($7500 would be enough) 8. Make both tossups (take out the first) the same amount ($2000 perhaps?).
The other things can stay, the Jackpot and Mystery are fine, regular wheel amounts are fine and the theme is okay.

My theme song suggestion:
1992-1994 Wheel of Fortune theme song.

Why don't they just use a new theme/rendition?

And replace it with the 1983 theme. Exactly!! My theme song suggestion: 1992-1994 Wheel of Fortune theme song. Another great suggestion for this day in age regarding music. Or since we're hearing 80s style music making a comeback, they can add along the 1989-1992 theme just to alternate in between both themes. How does that sound? Consecutive posts merged.

Oh, don't get me wrong...I'd prefer it if they'd use Changing Keys as well. Or even Big Wheels. Since that seems unlikely, however, at least go back to using the first cut of Happy Wheels...

If there's one thing I'd suggest, it's an idea for contestants who've suffered some nasty shut-outs. Yes, many contestants have ended up walking away with parting gifts or the pity thousand, having solved only puzzles during the audition process, but some of these shut-outs were more notoriously memorable than others.
If they were to have maybe a one or two-week stint where they'd bring back some of these people for one more chance to cash in and get at least one show puzzle under their belt, that'd be nice, but I know the bad part is if they were to blow their second chance at some redemption.

Although I think the 1989 theme is the best (it should have been used until the end of Season 14), I think a new aggangement of "Changing Keys" should be made for Season 30.
Yes, the Kaplan "Happy Wheels" was better, but I don't care for that particular theme because it always sounded like what it is, a knock off version of the 1997 theme that tries to sound like the 70's theme. And the 2006 version is just weak and awful music.

I think that once someone solves the puzzle with a half car plate, the plate should be kept safe from a Bankrupt in all future rounds

Oh, right, one other thing:
All cardboard (except perhaps the MDW and of course the Mystery stuff) should be replaced the next round if it is lost the round before.

I most certainly agree with you about the 2006 theme. A few years ago, the original version of Happy Wheels was heard during some Sweepstakes Promotion. So I'm assuming that theme still exists somewhere in that vault along with Changing Keys.
But wouldn't it be even cooler if the 1983, 1989, and 1992 versions of CHANGING KEYS and the Original composition of Happy Wheels was played during the 30 Anniversary? It like putting both versions together in one season. lol

I would like it better to hear one new theme, a new arrangement of "Changing Keys". If they can make a new arrangement for Jeopardy!'s theme why not do the same for "Changing Keys"?
At least get rid of the weak 2006 theme and horrendously bad 2007 opening music.

Totally! And the same ought to be said about the Puzzle Solve Cues too! The 1989-1994 Version or at least a remix of it would be a perfect choice.

-A new arrangement of "Changing Keys" -A new set maybe (or if at least not that, bring back the RYB backdrops but with a modern twist) -$1000, $1500, $2000 wedges -Lower the house minimum to $500 -Reduce the minimum amount on the wheel to $100 or $150 -More variety of prizes -A 30th Anniversary CD with all music ever used on the show

To have a WHEEL OF FORTUNE Soundtrack to commemorate WHEEL'S 30th Anniversary would sound totally fantastic. We would hear all of the songs and cues played on WHEEL OF FORTUNE from the past 30 years! Wouldn't that be great?

Here is another suggestion: A Summer of Vintage WHEEL OF FORTUNE at the end of the season. Which means, WHEEL OF FORTUNE could air vintage shows at least during the Summer to continue to commemorate its 30th Anniversary. That's what JEOPARDY! did when it commemorated its 25th Anniversary. They spent the Summer of 2009 airing Vintage shows from the past 25 years. Why don't WHEEL OF FORTUNE try the same thing?

Didn't Jeopardy! only do that vintage thing for one week?
Regardless, I agree that Wheel should do that, but they would probably just choose five of the same episodes that aired during the GSN Merv Griffin tribute marathon...

Didn't Jeopardy! only do that vintage thing for one week? Yes, but only the 1984 syndicated premiere and maybe Eddie Timanus' 5th show could be considered classics. Regardless, I agree that Wheel should do that, but they would probably just choose five of the same episodes that aired during the GSN Merv Griffin tribute marathon... I doubt it would even be that good. The 1976 "Kill the Vampire" episode, Vanna's first official show, and Pat's last Network show are all from the Daytime version's run so they won't be shown. And all of the others were pre-Sony era so those unless of huge significance are out as well. Here's what I think they'd end up showing: Mon *The current syndicated premiere (1983) Tues *The electronic Puzzleboard debut (1997) Wed *The Jack Wagner & Christine Denos' record all-time one day win (2006) Thur *The Million Dollar Win (2008) Fri *Caitlin Burke 1 letter solve (w/ Jim Thornton's voice added in ) (2010)
