Make the back of the $10,000 prize multipliable and the top value for the 4th and subsequent rounds. This does not get removed from the wheel if the contestant lands on it and calls the correct letter.

Well, I previously suggested that the MDW should be treated like the Wild Card (it won't be lost if another player solves the puzzle in the round you earn it, even if you avoid Bankrupt); if that doesn't work, try treating it like the 1/2 Kia tags: If a player who has the MDW doesn't solve the puzzle in that round (regardless of whether they hit Bankrupt or not), then put it back on the Wheel until Round 4.
If that doesn't work, then I am out of suggestions....for now.

People need to realize that Wheel is not going to make the Million any easier to win. The insurance company could potentially throw a tantrum.
That doesn't mean they might not try to make the million HARDER to win, though...

Make the puzzleboard a perfect 4×14. The arches are gone; we don't need the artifact from when they were there.

Here's another idea: Why don't they try taping a 30th Anniversary Special? A special that takes a look back at all of the greatest highlights of WHEEL OF FORTUNE over the past 30 years.

being from a different country I can't watch the show regularly, but I have noticed that the American edition needs all the advertising time it can get. for this reason, any change that slows the game or removes advertising would probably not be acceptable
here's what I believe it could improve the program:
-start with a "cold open" like the Australian edition: right after the WHEEL! OF! FORTUNE! chant, the hostess welcomes the viewers and starts the toss-up. when the toss-up is done with, she congratulates the winner, a short theme plays, the host walks in and introduces the contestants. no need for another toss-up.
-remove Free Play, and give the Wild Card holder the option to discard it to avoid losing the turn (you won't lose it to a Bankrupt if you don't want to use it right away)
-for more variety, some puzzles may have a "clue" rather than a "category". for example the subject "road joke" could lead to the puzzle "CHICKEN CROSSING"
-limit vowel purchases to 1 per turn and/or increase the price.
-after a player wins a round, the player who is next in line starts the following round
-instead of a bank of monitors, have the puzzleboard be a big flat screen. it could display different background graphics during rounds, or when not used.
-have a way to display the board AND the spinning wheel at once on the screen.
-having more variety with the values inside the bonus round envelopes can be good, as long as they don't overdo it like they did here in Italy: I've seen values like 17k, 32k, 74k and even 90k -_-'

I remember seeing clips of how they progress the gameplay of WHEEL in Australia and the U.K. in the exact fashion as you've described. I believe if they tried it here, it would speed things a bit more by limiting commercial interruptions.

Ew. I'd just rather have an actual puzzleboard, arch cut-offs and all. Looking at three big screens is boring, there's only need for one.

Plus, going to one big screen would kill what little charm the current puzzleboard has left.
Just because you can use monitors for everything doesn't mean you should. The current puzzleboard itself is fine.

That wouldn't look very good on our board, though. The borders around the monitors are very thick.

With the excetion of the wild card and the $10k mystery prize, treat every wedge like the 1/2 Kia tag.

Yeah...no. (Though the Free Spin should return with a 1/2 Car regeneration rule, though... )

Cheapen the front game (wheel included) and take away one gimmick and keep the end game the same.

The show's cheap enough as it is, Damion -- it doesn't need an excuse to be cheaper. (That said, watch as Harry looks over this topic and takes all the suggestions which don't make sense and/or are counterproductive.)

With few exceptions, every wedge that is picked up, the contestant must solve the puzzle in the round to claim it or else it gets placed back in the wheel until round 4.

Ethan, make up your mind! One minute, you want wedges to be treated one way, then some other way the next...

(That said, watch as Harry looks over this topic and takes all the suggestions which don't make sense and/or are counterproductive.) When you can win more in the front game then you can lose out on in the bonus round (in most cases), you could afford to cheapen it a bit.
